Two centuries of ophthalmology object by objectThe collection of the Eye Museum counts nearly 500 objects. These, often rare, items illustrate the development of the sciences of the eye from the 19th to the 20th century from a scientific, technical and aesthetic angle. Spectacles, examination instruments, instruments for the treatment of eye disorders, drawings, engravings and other scientific objects constitute a unique heritage portraying the ophthalmologists' ability to use technical progress to advance their science. |
