A virtual museum

The Eye Museum is a project of the Swiss Society of Ophthalmology (SSO). It has been implemented through a permanent exhibition on show at the premises of the Eye Hospital Jules-Gonin in Lausanne as well as on the internet where the entirety of the exquisite collection is displayed. It does not aim to be a traditional museum, but rather a living and virtual space devoted to the dissemination of knowledge.

The exhibition « A vue d'œil » offers an original perspective of the collection with a graphic presentation interacting with the architecture of the building. The display is made up of 5 mural frescos. The public is able to view the entirety of the collection on the internet by means of two interactive terminals
